The Brumby Rocker, famous for its craftsmanship, comfort and elegance, is once again in limited production. For the first time in almost 50 years, Brumby rockers are available from our family, original manufacturers of the Brumby Rocker from 1875 until production was halted due to World War II. Made with the same care and to 19th century specifications of our forebears, these collectors' items carry the seal of the original Brumby Chair Company of Marietta, Georgia.

The Brumby Rocker of today is authentic in every detail. Still crafted of the finest American Red Oak, the back posts are steam-bent to cradle the back, and matched runners are balanced to ensure an even rock. Caning is still expertly hand-woven in a tight, Herringbone pattern.

The Brumby is no ordinary rocker. Many consider this authentically American, distinctively Southern heirloom America's finest rocker. We revived production of our namesake rocker - perhaps the oldest product still in production in Georgia - because this classic chair has been a part of Marietta's history since 1875.

First designed and crafted by my grandfather and his brother shortly after the Civil War, the Brumby Rocker of the 1990's is still the perfect choice for the home, office or vacation home. It is also a much-appreciated and lasting gift for birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, retirements, special occasions and sales incentives.

The Brumby Rocker is manufactured and sold exclusively by the Brumby Chair Company. Rockers may be viewed and purchased in our showroom and workshop on the Marietta Square. We also offer immediate shipment almost anywhere in the world.
